Arthur Maberry, Director of Equine Sales and Operations
Arthur Maberry found an insurance agency in 1982 specializing in equine mortality insurance. In this new venture he was fortunate to develop relationships around the world. He insured world champions in several different disciplines, including thoroughbred racing, quarter horse racing, cutting, rodeo and Grand Prix jumpers. His agency grew to become a major influence in the equine industry.
Joining Andreini and Company in 2014 diversified his business tremendously. Now as Director of Equine Sales and Operations, his responsibilities have expanded to working with all of the Andreini equine producers and manages the placement of the book with the many companies that we now represent.
Arthur takes pride in the fact that he has customers that he has insured since 1982 and he has been working with many of the same underwriters and brokers from the beginning of his new agency. The office in Sweetwater, Texas has six employees that work with all the Andreini equine producers, placing business with the various underwriters. The staff includes his son Kirk and son-in-law Jonathan Jones.
Prior to starting in the industry, Arthur was strongly influenced by the agriculture industry as a youth. He graduated with a degree in agriculture education from Tarleton State University. He went on to work in agriculture public relations and agriculture finance before starting his insurance career.
Arthur and his wife Danna have two children, their spouses and four grandchildren are his pride and joy.
